Ruthrauff, Inc.Ruthrauff, Inc., traces its origin to 1934 when it began as a commercial refrigeration distribution and contracting firm founded by Jack Ruthrauff. From the onset, the company has been built on a foundation of integrity and quality workmanship. Nick Laux joined the company in the mid 1950's and the decision was made to enter the emerging field of air conditioning. To maintain our leadership position, we developed in-house engineering capabilities and established ourselves as the area's premier Design/Build mechanical contractor, a distinction we still enjoy today. To meet our objective of becoming a complete mechanical contractor, Ruthrauff purchased an established plumbing company and opened a sheet metal fabrication shop. Soon thereafter, process piping and fire protection capabilities were added. In 1989, a group of key employees led by David and Nora Faller acquired ownership of Ruthrauff, Inc., as Mr. Laux gradually phased out. Since then, all facets of engineering, project management and accounting have been computerized and networked, streamlining the corporate structure into a single entity with a focus on being "The Single Source Advantage" to you. Mechanical service and maintenance has always been an important part of our success and we now operate one of the largest HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection service operations in the area.
